MCSA Group provided Comprehensive Services for the development of the Hastings Riverwalk, including a new bridge over the Thornapple River and over 1.6 miles of non-motorized trail development. The trail is part of the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail System. Services included Master Planning, MDOT and MNRTF Grant Applications, Design Development, Engineering and Construction Administration.

The project includes two river overlook decks with seating, a riverside pocket park with seating areas and fishing opportunities. The trail is a component of the regional Paul Henry Thornapple Trail and was designed using AASHTO Guidelines.
