Ferrand Park

MCSA Group, Inc. provided comprehensive professional services for the Ferrand Park in the City of Wyoming. These services included all Master Planning, Design Development, Site Engineering, Construction Documents and Construction Administration.

This neighborhood park is filled with old growth hard wood trees. Covenants on the property protect all trees from being removed unless they are diseased or dead. Therefore, the design integrated the park amenities around the trees with minimum grade changes.

Primary pathways through the park are concrete with colored concrete to indicate maintenance dates. However, secondary pathways and connections were constructed with crushed stone to reduce the impact on existing trees roots.

Decorative stone columns line the entrance to the park. The project also included a shade shelter, playground, site furniture, interpretive panels, and shade tolerant plantings.
