Conservation Park River Access and Boat Launch

Pere Marquette Township secured an acquisition grant from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF) to acquire property along the Pere Marquette River. In collaboration with community members and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the Township developed a Master Plan for the site, aiming to provide a safer and more accessible fishing access point compared to the previous location a long Pere Marquette Highway.

The proposed improvements include a boat launch, an accessible fishing pier, a restroom facility, a picnic shelter, a fish cleaning station, and associated parking. MCSA Group provided comprehensive professional services, including master planning, grant assistance, engineering, permitting through the EGLE and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and bidding support.
