MCSA Group provided architectural and engineering services to the U.S. Department of Labor for complete renovations.

The Center, formerly South High School, is named after its most prominent graduate Gerald R. Ford. Architectural services included the rehabilitation of 34 male dormitory rooms, toilet and shower facilities, lounge and study areas, classrooms, offices, exterior repairs, partial window and roof replacement. New construction included a completely new kitchen and an elevator for the existing gymnasium building. Engineering services included a completely new HVAC system and electrical supply and distribution system for the main building, auditorium and gymnasium.

Due to the age of the building, environmental services were also required for lead and asbestos abatement.
