The MCSA Group facility assessment was the starting point for a series of improvements at the Institute. The first project replaced all the exterior openings including insulated metal panels. The project was funded through ARRA which required the use of U.S. made and energy efficient products. The second project involved the replacement of the failed wood roof deck at the natatorium.

Concurrent with the deck replacement was the redesign of the natatorium ventilation system.
