The MCSA Design Team provided architectural and engineering services to the U.S. Department of Labor for the Detroit Job Corps Center in Detroit Michigan. MCSA Group created an overall site master plan which was the starting point for a two phase project.

The first phase was the design and construction of 34,000 square foot, 296-bed dormitory where MCSA Group provided all Construction Administration services with FEH Architects as the design architect. MCSA Group provided all services during Phase 2 which included demolition of 104,000 square feet of building, a 5,000 square foot addition and renovations within the remaining building.

A construction phasing plan was developed to allow work while the facility remained occupied.
